Why Can I Not Change The Post Date?

• When you first edit your post or your are editting a draft, you will be allowed to change the date of your post
  
  
  
  
• However, once you click publish, you will no longer be able to change the date of your post
  
  
  
  
• We do this to prevent spammers from spamming the home page.
